What do you specialize in?

We specialize in hair care, color, weave, and— most importantly— professionalism.


Where are you located? 

EnvyMe Hair Studio is located in Hyde Park, just a 15 minute drive from downtown Chicago. You can find us inside the Deco Arts Building at 1525 E 55th St. Suite 101. 


What are your hours?

Mon     9:00am – 3:00pm
Tue 9:00am – 6:00pm
Wed 9:00am – 6:00pm
Thu 8:00am – 6:00pm
Fri 8:00am – 6:00pm
Sat 8:00am – 6:00pm
Sun 9:00am – 4:00pm

Do you offer free parking?

Free street parking is available on Harper St. Additionally, we have a paid parking in the garage connected to the building. ($8.00)


Is your salon clean and professional?

Yes we pride ourselves in sharing a clean and professional atmosphere


Do you offer hair care advice?

At EnvyMe we give all of our clients consultations during every appt. That way we can let the know if they are doing great with their hair or if we need to figure out what needs to be changed


How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule your appointment by phone, in person or online by clicking here.


What is your cancellation policy? 

Please let us know if you can not make your appointment. Not showing up to your appointment without warning will result in 100% of your service being charged to the credit card on file for you. Cancelling with in 24 hours if your appointment will result in 50% of your service being charged to your credit card. 


Will you offer any refreshments during my services?

Yes we offer popcorn, coffee, water, tea and wine from open to close


Can I bring my kids? 

We love children of all ages. To ensure their safety and a relaxing experience for all our clients, we ask that your children visit us only when they have an appointment and are accompanied by an adult. What about adults who act like children? Well, that's another story.


Do you accommodate late arrivals?

We aim to server every one of our clients in a timely fashion. For this reason, we reserve the right not to accommodate those who arrive over 15 minutes late. 


Do you over book?

No we don’t everyone is in and out inless then 2 hours unless they are getting a weave and or permanent color.


What methods of payment do you accept?

Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, quickpay, PayPal  


How does the tipping process work? What is normal?

Our prices do not include gratuities. Tipping is optional, but if the service meets or exceeds your expectations it is definitely appreciated. The industry standard is 15 – 20% of your total service fee.


Do all your stylists work with black hair?

Of course! We are a multicultural salon and all our artists work with a variety of hair types.


Do you install weave?

Yes. We sell and install hair. We welcome you to purchase hair from us so it can be clean and ready for you when you come in for your service.

What do I need to do to my hair before a weave installation?

Just like any appointment that you book at EnvyMe we ask that your hair is detangled. And that you do not get a relaxer 2 weeks before your install


Do you offer make-up services?

Yes! When you book this device you will have the option to book with two different MUA


Do you offer hair braiding services?

Yes! Most services that you book you will have the option to pick between two stylist or more


Is the salon equipped with steamers?

Yes we offer steam treatments.


Do you rent out the studio for special events?

Yes, and we will link to the event page etc.
